Cast in recycled antique gold aluminum, this collection captures two classic fowl poses, a male and a female Merriam turkey, each perched thoughtfully on a small sculpted branch. The detail work throughout the piece reflects Hiemstra's signature approach to nature-inspired design: realistic texture, considered proportion, and a finish that reads as heirloom rather than seasonal decor.

What sets the Merriam Turkey Collection apart from typical harvest decor is its dual identity. While the pieces feel completely at home on a Thanksgiving table or autumn console, the antique gold finish and sculptural quality make them equally suited to display well beyond the fall season. Many collectors choose to keep a Jessica Hiemstra piece like this one out year-round, appreciating it as a standalone art object rather than a seasonal decoration that gets packed away each January.

Each turkey is sold as part of the collection and can be styled individually or paired together, depending on the scale of the display you're building. Positioned side by side, the male and female turkeys create a naturalistic vignette that feels curated rather than staged, a hallmark of Hiemstra's design philosophy across the broader Eric + Eloise Collection.

As an authorized source for official Eric + Eloise Collection pieces, ericandeloisecollection.com offers the Merriam Turkey Collection with full confidence in authenticity and design provenance. Cast in recycled aluminum and finished in the collection's signature antique gold, this piece takes an unexpected subject, a stylized cranium, and elevates it through fine sculptural detail and a thoughtfully engineered watertight design.

What makes the Cranium Pot particularly compelling is the layered storytelling in its design. Rather than a simple skull shape, the piece features small mushrooms growing up and around the base and sides, evoking a found-on-the-forest-floor quality that feels more artful and atmospheric than typical mass-market Halloween decor. This woodland detail softens what could otherwise be a purely macabre object, giving it a more sophisticated, gothic-naturalist appeal.

Function is fully built into the design. A circular flat base gives the piece stability, while a removable metal insert fits into the top opening, allowing the Cranium Pot to be used as an actual planter.
